Authentication
Every call to /v1 carries your API key in the Authorization header.
Send your key
Put the key after the word Key. Bearer works too, so clients written for other APIs need no change.

Create keys in the console under Keys. A key is shown once, when you create it; after that the console shows only its first characters, so copy it into your environment straight away. Each key can have its own daily or monthly spend limit.
Keep it secret
Call the API from your server, never from a browser or an app a user can open. If a key leaks, revoke it in the console. It stops working from the next request.
When it fails

| 401 | missing_api_key | No Authorization header |
| 401 | invalid_api_key | The key is wrong, unknown or revoked |
| 403 | account_frozen | The account is frozen |
